Today, the stylish Seamaster Planet Ocean collection pays tribute to OMEGA’s ocean and diving heritage.

This 39.5 mm model features a sleek black ceramic case and a diamond-paved titanium bezel that includes a black ceramic triangle at 12 o’clock. The dial is also black ceramic dial with 18K white gold numerals, indexes and hands, as well as a date window at 3 o’clock.

Presented on a black leather strap with rubber lining, this timepiece includes the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8800. This can be seen through the transparent caseback, which itself is enhanced by the NAIAD LOCK to keep all wording upright. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).

• Screw‑in crown

  Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers’ watches.

• Transparent case back

  A transparent case back – frequently made of sapphire – makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.

• Unidirectional rotating bezel

  A bezel which turns in only one direction. Particularly useful for divers who cannot accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, which could cause them to miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easy to measure elapsed time.
