Description

To meet a long-standing request from Seamaster Bullhead enthusiasts, OMEGA has reissued a limited-edition version of the iconic chronograph. The new Bullhead’s dial design captures the strength of the original, with its distinctive inner bezel and the sub-dials at 12 and 6 o’clock.

As with the original Bullhead, there is a date window at 3 o’clock. The black “sport-chic” dial features a reversed “Clous de Paris” pattern and is visible through a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The screw-in caseback is stamped with the familiar polished Seamaster Seahorse. Its black bi-directional rotating inner bezel has a 12-hour scale.

The striking timepiece is presented on a black leather strap and has been produced in an edition limited to 669 pieces. The new Bullhead is powered by an automatic Co-Axial calibre 3113.

Features

• Bi‑directional rotating bezel

  A bezel which can be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise. Rotating bezels can be used to time events, measure elapsed times, or read second or third time zones.

• Chronograph

  The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.

• Chronometer

  Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).

• Date

  The day of the month, displayed in a window on a watch dial at the 3 or 6 o’clock position, or within a subdial at 9 o’clock.

• Limited edition (669)

  A series of watches whose production run is determined in advance of production and limited to a set number.

• Screw‑in crown

  Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers’ watches.

• Small seconds

  A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.
